Wagner called Beethoven's 7th Symphony the "Apotheosis of Dance" - it's certainly a piece alive with energy and vigour. True dance features in the second part of our spring concert with Stravinsky's ballet score for Pulcinella with music borrowed from 18th Century Italian composers like Pergolesi.
