A Classic FM perennial, Bruch’s beautiful first Violin Concerto is performed by Dutch rising star Lisa Jacobs. Paired with Beethoven’s most famous symphony, this programme is ideal for first-timers as well as seasoned concert-goers. The hidden gem is Raff’s orchestration of the great Bach Chaconne  from the master's Second Partita for solo violin – wonderfully reimagined by a forgotten icon of the mid 1800s.
